First days feeding assessments are so helpful to transition into a smooth feeding journey. Assessments can be done with infant and mother immediately after birth up to 1 year. The first days and beyond are a critical learning point for you and your baby. By having a latch assessment done on breast we are able to fix and prevent latching problems, assess for possible abnormalities, prevent pain/soreness, and best of all give you the confidence and support needed for you and your baby to thrive. This consult provides you with complete assessment, personalized care plan, session notes and baby weight check. Assessments are best if done in person. I come to you in hospital or at home! Assessments can also be done via zoom but please note this limits certain aspects of the assessment and may not give us a clear idea of whats going on.
